[downing] phase 3
phase3
For phase three of my project, I really wanted to focus on the attributes and what Lake Lotawana means to the community. I wanted people to see the fun yet the seriousness of the lake. Lake Lotawana provides a fun yet community based environment for the whole family. I juxtaposed full bleed images of the lake with spacious layouts. The images selected all show the lake and the fun people can have there. With my interstitial, I wanted to show the calm and fast paced life on the lake.

[drake] phase 3
Land Locked Surf Supply Co. is a Kansas City based boutique which offers inland individuals an outlet to support independent surf brands, as well as engage within in a culture they are geographically disconnected from. Land Locked Surf Supply Co. provides a retail space, as well as an art gallery and music venue for the Kansas City area. Reverberating the cultural values from the 50s and 60s on Wiamea Bay. The visual components interpret the attributes of the brand: independent, evocative, stoked, charming, natural, radical, and eccentric. This is a look of how those different components are being expressed.

[Ivan] Phase 3
Hamilton's Barbershop Co. With the touch points I was really focused on creating cohesion through the black and white and letting the red be a subtly accented colour. The environment. The lifestyle. For me These are things that are hard to embody solely through typography and color. What does the brand look like in a time based medium? That is what I am asking myself. I feel as though I can capture the qualitative aspects of the Hamilton's (sophistication, confidence, unreserved) through such an exploration I hope that this video will not only be an asset to my brand, but will also define the demographic that I've had trouble articulating and give life to the experiential part of my barbershop.
